Auckland's The Naked And Famous are based around the ferociously talented pairing of composer/control freak Thom Powers and vocal siren/lyricist Alisa Xayalith, though they operate as a full band live.
In the course of the last year and a half The Naked And Famous have released a white label seven inch and two well-received EPs - This Machine and No Light, not to mention playing at CMJ in New York, the NZ Big Day Out, and being requested byNine Inch Nails as their Auckland support act.
