Aly Releases second single from Brand New Day 'Country Storm'

Aly Cook's Midnight Sun spent 11 weeks on the Australian Top 30 Country Tracks chart peaking at # 12. Now comes the next single "Country Storm", a co-write with David Erik from the USA.

The freshly vamped video by multi award winning director producer Paul Sparkes includes footage shot in Nashville LA the UK and Christchurch NZ and can be viewed here

Aly Cook nominated for NZ Female Country Artist of the Year 2012

Aly is nominated for Female Country Artist of the Year at the 2012 National Country Music Awards. There is a public vote to decide the top 3 final nominees. Please give Aly a vote. Aly's second album quickly attracts 'believers' through crowd funding website Sellaband.

€5,800 has been raised so far toward the recording of Aly Cook's 2nd album. Aly's first album was recorded using crowd funding on Sellaband. Aly is now at 14% of her intended goal of €40,000. Investors in the album are referred
to as "believers".

Essensially to explain crowd funding, There's 4,000 shares at €10 each. So far Aly has 83 believers who have bought 580 shares between them i.e. Aly has raised €5,800 toward the recording of her 2nd album. So she
needs to sell more to be able to record. Believers are on a pro-rata share of 50% Aly's share of net sales income and those holding over 20 parts or more, are on 40% of Aly's airplay royalties. For 5 years after the release of the album. Buying one €10 part. Gets you a copy of the album when it is completed and manufactured.
