Country Music Awards
The APRA Best Country Music Song Award nominations are officially open. Calling all you musical magicians of country, rockabilly, folk, bluegrass, western swing, Americana, deathcountry, psychobilly, rap-country...and whatever other subgenres you can throw in there, it's time to get your song in the running. Entries due 27th February 2012. Click here for details and entry form.

Nominations for the RIANZ Best Country Music Album 2012 are now open also. To view all the details and submit a nomination visit the RIANZ website.

Song Summit 2012
APRA NZ is pleased to announce six Song Summit 2012 grants for NZ APRA members. These individual grants will cover trans-Tasman flights, accommodation and attendance costs for the event in Sydney on 26 - 28 May 2012. Song Summit involves three dynamic days of learning, networking, workshops and performances - this is a key event in the industry calendar. Find out more at www.songsummit.com.au

Pacific Music Awards
Being held for its 8th year honouring Pacific music and Pacific artists, the Pacific Music Awards will be held on Thursday 31 May. Entries are now open with all details due by Monday 20th February 2012. Amongst the entered categories is the APRA Best Pacific Song Award. Tropfest in New Zealand
New Plymouth is the place to be for NZ's viewing of the world's biggest short film festival. Being the first year APRA has been part of this festival, we are pretty excited about the screening at the incredible Bowl of Brooklands. Click here to view the details.
