Koha for the Crib Is Now Sold Out

June 30th 2011
Top Kiwi musicians, poets, and artists are donating their collective talents and joining forces for a one-off, special tribute evening to Hone Tuwhare.

Koha for the Crib will feature special semi-acoustic performances from Martin Phillips (The Chills), David Kilgour, Herbs unplugged, Whirimako Black and Russel Walder, Her Favorite Band, Graham Brazier, aerialist Eve Gordon and Lawrence Arabia.

This event is now sold out.  Raconteur poets Sam Hunt, Glenn Colquhoun, Tracey Tawhiao and broadcaster John Campbell will entertain with their own pieces as well as Hone’s work.

Renowned New Zealand artists including Leon Kipa, Shane Hansen, Lonnie Hutchinson, Ngahina Hohaia, Frans Baetens, Tracey Tawhiao, Suzanne Tamaki, Charlotte Graham, and Andrea Hopkins have all donated works to be auctioned, as has David Kilgour.

It is hoped Koha for the Crib will kick start our fundraising efforts towards purchasing and restoring Hone’s Kaka Point crib. Tickets are $60 each (including refreshments) and can be purchased from Ticketek: Click here to purchase tickets.
