Te Matatini Proudly Presents: "Arohanui - the Greatest Love"

It is with great excitement that I invite you to experience the world premiere season of Arohanui – The Greatest Love, Te Matatini's inaugural Maori stage production.

Proudly part of the REAL New Zealand festival, the 90 minute live stage show embraces the very best of traditional and contemporary kapa haka, martial arts, poi and waiata and seamlessly blends theatre - the result is a truly unique experience.

Our creative paepae includes Annette Wehi of Te Waka Huia, Tanemahuta Gray (Maui - One Man Against the Gods), Jim Moriarty and Helen Pearse-Otene.
The stellar kapa haka and production crew includes Tapeta Wehi, Tukiterangi Curtis, Ana Hau, Renata Curtis and Leisha Conrad. Our cast boasts 35 of the best kapa haka exponents from around the motu including Tomika Whiu, Taumata Solomon and Kurahapainga Te Ua.
