The Latest Indoor Music Festival Arrives in Auckland This July, and You’ll Want to Be There.

May 22nd 2017
The inaugural Madcap Madness Festival, presented by Sawmill Brewery, will take place on Saturday the 1st of July 2017 across Whammy, Backroom & Wine Cellar.

Situated on one of Auckland's most colourful strips, the unique Karangahape Road, the musical showcase will include performances from some of our country's most talented musicians, covering a multitude of genres across the musical spectrum. The focus is on supporting homegrown music. Therefore, the staggering line-up of over 21 artists will be entirely comprised of New Zealand-based musical talent. Among those performing this year are familiar names like Raiza Biza, Montell 2099, Villette, SoccerPractise, Shiraz & LSJ.

Madcap Madness is about discovering new music and supporting artists you're already following. As an indoor festival, the ease of movement within St Kevin's Arcade will make it convenient to catch a range of different acts across our three stages.
The intimacy of this indoor music festival promises to bring you a complete community experience drawing together the local music, art and culture that Madcap places a strong emphasis on. Good vibes only.
Madcap Madness is R18. We believe in a friendly and inclusive environment for everyone no matter your race, gender, or sexual orientation. Please respect other attendees. There is a zero-tolerance harassment policy.
