The Pure Series Hits Australia Early Feb

February 4th - 7th sees a new kind of festival in Australia. The Pure Series is set to showcase a series of events bringing together the various styles of home grown New Zealand based music, art and culture to different night clubs throughout Sydney CBD.

February 4th - 7th sees a new kind of festival in Australia. The Pure Series is set to showcase a series of events bringing together the various styles of home grown New Zealand based music, art and culture to different night clubs throughout Sydney CBD. The first of its kind in Australia, The Pure Series aims to bring the most prolific artists of different genres together for a 3 day event, merging music, art and culture for an educational and unforgettable experience.

The Pure Series identifies the strength and honesty that NZ music represents in the form of Roots, Reggae, Dub, Soul and Funk, as well as House and Drum n Bass. Each night will be dedicated to presenting the crème de la crème of each genre, themed in their own individual styles. 14 key players and prolific artists from across the Tasman will be flown over especially for the festival, sharing and showcasing the music you love, the music that has made them the top of their game, including:
Agent Alvin, Bulletproof, Jess Hartley, Emma Green, Dick Johnson, Tim Richards, DJ Philippa, Bevan Keys, Ladi 6, Dj Parks, Gene rivers, Mikey Rockwell, DJ Definite with more to be announced

Steinlarger Pure, a New Zealand beer made from pure NZ water and the major sponsor of The Pure Series, have an extensive role in supporting the event over the next coming weeks.

In addition incredibly talented New Zealand artists will be encouraged to submit themed artwork for display at the venues, at each genre themed event. Look out for competitions and prizes to be announced early Jan!

The synergy between music, art and culture is beautiful, and the Pure Series will blend all aspects together to bring a celebration of New Zealand to club land in Australia for the first time, forming a large and loyal audience not just from New Zealand ex-pats but many Sydney residents, thanks to the connection and popularity of New Zealand music and culture in Australia.
