The Vibe Bar Presents King Kapisi, I Am Giant, and Many More 25/09/2010

It’s that time of year again when The Vibe Bar, in association with Steinlager Pure, hosts another one of it's excellent showcases of New Zealand music.

Normally this would be the day after the Toast festival,
but due its cancellation, we have brought the day forward to take it’s
place.

Headlining the Bar area downstairs is Samoan hip hop royalty in the form
of King Kapisi, who will be busting fresh rhymes from his new album, "Hip
Hop Lives Here". Also playing is fellow old school legend DLT, former
member of the Upper Hutt Posse and creator of the hit single “Chains”
(featuring Che Fu), DJ Vee and more.

Upstairs in the Live room, we have I Am Giant, a group formed by Shelton
Woolright from Blindspott and Paul Mathews from Tadpole, who are currently
doing great guns back in New Zealand with their debut single "City
Limits". Supporting them will be the seriously funky Davey Caine and the
Sweet & Serious plus dubmeister International Observer.

Weather permitting there will also be live music in the courtyard during
the afternoon.

There are no advance sales for this show - it will be £5 on the door from
7pm.
