This week’s chart reflects activity on theaudience.co.nz and the Focus Weekly chart as of 9.00am Thursday 12 July.

Editors choice:
We've been genuinely impressed with the calibre of the artists and the music that is populating the site (even the more cyncial amongst us confesses to finding new music that floats their boat). It is especially great seeing the number of young, and before now, unknown artists that are uploading tracks.

General Nova
At only 14 years old, this electronic music producer from Thames/Coromandel is one of the youngest artists to be using the website. Despite his age, DJ General Nova (Jack Millar) may have actually clocked up more hours on the decks than some of his older contemporaries; he’s been at it since the age of nine. Apparently this is thanks to a teacher in Primary School, one Scotty Sambo – things have sure changed since I was at Primary School!

New unreleased
1. Thrasher by Randa.
2. New Love, Old Pain by Matt Bodman and The Valentine Grind.
3. Drag 'em by Fuyukos Fables.

Voting for next week’s chart is open now, so head to theaudience.co.nz and have your say.
