Vodafone NZ Music Awardzies
Hi friends - here is a little update on what has been going on in TPF land over the last month. Thanks for reading brethren. x TPF
The Yoda-Bone has spoken, Buffalo is up for every award at the VNZMAs Technical Awards this year. The awards are given out on September 1st when the noms for the main awards are also announced.
So, hoorah Mr Paul Johnson for the album cover...
...also, bloody good work Mr Lee Prebble - not only is he up for Best Engineer on Buffalo, he is also a contender for Producer and Engineer on the latest Fly My Pretties record.
And, of course, HUGE thanks to Mr Brett Stanton for the wonderful recording work he did on Buffalo, and to all who helped with the album in so many ways.
"If a hot, thin ex-nun pooed"
Congratulations to Lisa Aaltonen, winner of the inaugural TPF Anagram Facebook Bonanza . While entries such as 'I Hunt Ex In Poon Of Death' and 'Henus Pounding the X Fat' had a certain tasteless charm, it was the vivid imagery of Lisa's couplet that won over our hearts. We're gonna do more of this nonsense on our Facebook page, so go to www.facebook.com/thephoenixfoundation to join in.
