Western Line Back in Australian Country Top 10 as Aly Cook Announces Shows

New Zealand South Island Audiences can see Aly in Christchurch at Songwriters in the Round in November and at the North Canterbury Country Music Festival

Aly Cook's single ‘Western Line' lept up the charts this week as Australian Tour Shows announced. ‘Western line' has been in the Australian Country Tracks Top 40 Airplay Chart. for 17 weeks, currently the longest running song in the chart, including 6 weeks at number #1. The song lept 20 places to number #10 this week and simultaneously on the Tasmanian Top 30 the song lept 19 places to number #10 after 14 weeks in.

Western Line was dubbed Aly Cook's 4th number #1 on the Australian airplay chart from her very successful album ‘HorseShoe Rodeo Hotel'.
September and October is a time of FIRSTS for Aly Cook ... First time in Tasmania, the ‘apple isle' and first time performing at the Mildura Country Music Festival.

Aly will travel to perform at Mildura Country Music Festival, from September 29th to October 8th back down to Sydney to perform at Canterbury Country at Canterbury Hurlstone RSL and then to the Tasmanian Country Music Awards on the 21st of October, where she will be performing before heading back to New Zealand.

September marking the beginning of a busy time as Aly will also be singing backing vocals at Sharon O'Neill's sold out ‘Home' concerts in Nelson New Zealand before heading to Australia.

Aly Cook's Music TV programme ‘Kiwi Country' has been going from strength to strength now broadcasting twice a week on the Keep it Country TV Channel in the UK on Freeview 87, SKY389 and Freesat 516 as well as streaming online twice a week. In New Zealand the show is broadcasting on Channel 39 on terrestrial freeview in Dunedin and Invercargill as well as mainland television in Nelson With an exciting partnership about to be announced that will allow the show to be seen twice a week, simultaneously across social media platforms.

Kiwi Country is also going out 3 times per week as an adapted radio show on International Connection Radio, an online radio platform.
