World Class Drummer to Run Clinics at the Porch Recording Studio

Proudly supported by The Rockshop, The Porch Recording Studio Drum Clinics, seek to guide up and coming drummers in all aspects of their music.

On the 6th and 7th of August The Porch Recording Studio
has managed to lure Patrick Kuhtze, session drummer, into hosting two
exclusive drum clinics. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Patrick has worked all over the world with amazing musicians including
Michael Jackson's Drummer, Jonathan Moffat and Jerry Harrison from
Talking Heads. He is an ideal coach for up and coming drummers.

This will be a great opportunity to understand drumming from a
recording aspect with Regan Mckinnon, The Porch Recording Studios'
resident producer, identifying how recording studios work and the best
ways to mic up our kit.

Participants will also have the opportunity to try out the Sonar 3007
drum kit, courtesy of The Rockshop.

Tickets are $100.00 with the session starting at 10am and finishing at
6pm with lunch provided. There are only twenty places available.

• Drums in the Studio
• Drum parts & cymbals
• Timbre, tuning & Maintenance
• Performing in a drumming context
