New Videos, a Beginners Guide to Touring, CMJ Update

October 26th 2010

On the site we have another informative guide for you from Samuel Walsh, the man behind Mole Music, who has been assisting the Music Commission as part of his Master of Arts Management course. Sam has put together Organising A Tour: A Beginners Guide , which is packed full of tips and advice for those who have never put together a tour before..

On the video front we’ve an interview with Petrina George from APRA/AMCOS about royalty collections and what they do at APRA/AMCOS.

CMJ in New York has run it’s course and all indications suggest our local acts (Kids Of 88, Zowie , Lawrence Arabia, Street Chant, Ruby Frost, Electric Wire Hustle , Family Cactus and Cairo Knife Fight ) have been wowing audiences across the city. Photos from last Tuesday nights NZ@CMJ Party that featured Zowie, Street Chant, Kids Of 88, Electric Wire Hustle and Lawrence Arabia can be viewed here. There is also a general CMJ update here.
