Sounds of Tasman Music Seminar

The one day seminar will cover a variety of subjects including songwriting, music industry, funding, copyright issues - with special guest Sharon O Neill.

Sound of Taste Tasman will be on Wednesday 10 March at the Nelson School of Music (Nile St, Nelson).

To impart knowledge on Songwriting, also present at the seminar, will be one of NZ's Iconic Songwriters and Recording Artists Sharon O'Neill an expat Nelsonian who's music not only took her into the NZ and Australian Charts but also has written for film and for other recording artists. Together with her partner Alan Mansfield who has a vast history including touring as a keyboard player with Bette Midler, Robert Palmer & as a member of Kiwi Group Dragon, Alan has also worked in the industry in the capacity as a producer.

This is your chance to be in the same room with some fantastic songwriters, members of staff from Australasian Performing Rights Association APRA, Creative New Zealand & New Zealand Music Commission.

Finally Liam Ryan MA music from NZ hit band The Narcs, who now resides in the Nelson Region and will be the director of the seminar on the day.
