BIGSOUND, now in its 13th year, has a reputation as the best and most relevant music industry event in Australia. Produced by QMusic, BIGSOUND is positioned as Australia's most internationally focused conference.

BIGSOUND draws top national and international industry talent to Brisbane each year, forming a vibrant collection of musicians, buyers and industry experts to create an environment of new music discovery.

The BIGSOUND conference program has a substantial reputation around the world for its cutting edge topics and down to earth approach in tackling issues in what is one of the world's most rapidly changing industries.

The ever-growing BIGSOUND festival program delivers a unique tastemaker-friendly atmosphere. BIGSOUND allows the public seamless access to live and original music throughout the program in a variety of Fortitude Valley clubs and venues across two nights. BIGSOUND Live 2014 will see 140 bands perform in 14 venues for one of the most exciting industry festivals and showcases in the Southern Hemisphere.

BIGSOUND is held in Brisbane from Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th of September 2014.

Since July 2013 Outward Sound have offered Targeted Tradeshow grants to support our managers, labels and musicians at selected and targeted trade events of which BIGSOUND is one.

For the BIGSOUND Targeted Tradeshow grant Outward Sound offers successful applicants 50% recoupable support up $1,000. Recoupable costs are limited to airfares, delegate registration, accommodation (up to 4 nights) and per diems (up to 4 days).

Applications close on the 28th of July with applicants notified of the result on the 5th of August.
