Campus A Low Hum 2011, FEB 11-13
I put tickets on sale early this year as I knew lots would be coming from overseas and would want to lock in their plans early. I've kept the website pretty uninformative and not that enticing to buy tickets in an effort to slow down sales as much as possible, however, the event is still 40% sold out at this stage. I don't anticipate tickets running out particularly soon, but you should definitely start working out how to get your ticket pretty soon.
From Oct 1 I'll be starting to announce various parties and activities and interesting things happening at Camp on www.campusalh.com. I am so stoked on some of the plans I've come up with. This will be the 5th anniversary of CALH and its going to be very very special.

Fields of Dreams 2010
I wasn't going to do another NYE party this year, but I had heaps of people ask me too, so am thinking about it. I'm still not 100% on it though. If you are keen on coming to an A Low Hum NYE party and would be keen to come out to Bulls for one mega night of sweet times, drop me an email:campusalh@gmail.com and pop "yeah…I'm kinda interested in a NYE party" in the subject line. The more people who do so, the more likely I am to put it on.
Book
I spent a couple of months agonising whether to include 1/3rd of the content of this book that I've been working on the past year and have decided recently just to pull it as I have spent too much time worrying about it. I will explain in full soon, but yeah, I am now free to just add finishing touches on the other two sections of the book now.
I am no longer going to hard-out print this as having dropped 1/3rd of the content it seems not worthwhile, however, the two most important essays are still going in. One of those, "How I book and tour manage DIY tours in the US and Europe" I think a lot of people are going to find interesting/helpful, and not just kiwis. It is NOT a directory/list of contacts (like "Local Knowledge"), but the method, tips and exactly how I book and tour manage overseas tours.
It will be a free PDF download and I might do a small run of budget printed copies that people can purchase for cheap who find reading on their computers/handheld devices annoying.
I'm aiming to have this online around by Nov 25th (if not before). If you see me after that date and it's not online yet, beat me to a pulp.
Die! Die! Die! Live video
I made this pretty choice little video of Die! Die! Die! On the tour I took them on in July. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRFURlGu6ZM (you're probably in it)
