An Evening of a Lifetime - a Maori Showband Tribute
On Friday 22 October from 6:00pm ‘til midnight at the Bruce Mason Centre, there will be a very special cocktail, dine & dance black tie affair.
For one night only, on stage in Auckland the members of the legendary Maori Showbands of the 50's, 60's and 70's return from the USA and Australia to reunite in Aotearoa for 'An Evening of a Lifetime'.
The Black Tie Dinner Show will feature some of the biggest names in Maori Showband history including: The Quin Tikis, Hi Quins, Troubadours and Maori Volcanics and the Maori Hi Five.
Performing with a thirty-piece orchestra under long time TVNZ producer Bernie Allen and the Australian Idol’s, David Pritchard-Blunt we also pay tribute to the Maori Hi Five Band who received a “Star in the sidewalk of fame” in Las Vegas 2009.
