Fourteen International Music Market Development grants were awarded.

Aaradhna (pictured)

Support for UK & Asia album release, showcase and promotional tour including showcasing at Music Matters Singapore.

Ulcerate

Twenty-six date North America tour throughout November 2016 to support the release of album Shrines Of Paralysis through label Relapse Records.

Tami Neilson

North American and Canadian tour to support the release of Don't Be Afraid, includes showcases at Nashville's Americana Festival.

Fazerdaze

A two week UK tour supporting London based band Big Deal.

House of Shem

Tour through USA, South America and Europe in support of the release of new EP through the Rebel Sound Records label.

Aldous Harding

Fourteen date US tour with Deerhunter supporting US release of debut album.

Yumi Zouma

Europe, Australia and Japan tours includes showcasing at Bigsound, Brisbane.

Myele Manzanza

UK / EU tour to support the release of album OnePointOne.

Louis Baker

On going writing development in France, London and LA in association with ASCAP and AAM.

Thomas Oliver

Showcases in Canada and Los Angeles in addition to attending co-writing sessions arranged by publisher.

Weird Together

US Promotion for forthcoming single through label Feel Up Records.

Andrew Spraggon

Networking and collaborations in the UK.

Sam de Jong

Co-writing/networking trip to Los Angeles including writing with MoZella and meeting with cuurent and future business partners.

Will Wood

Sixteen date UK tour.

 

Business Support Grants
The Outward Sound Business Development grant enables up to two representatives to undertake a market development visit. This involves traveling to the desired market (or markets) and meeting with companies/individuals and to capitalise on opportunities created. It supports managers, artists, and companies undertaking business-to-business meetings as well as attending tradeshows and associated events.
