Outward Sound Recipients Round Four 2009
Outward Sound is pleased to announce the fourth round of grant recipients for 2009.
Stage Two grants, providing the opportunity for in-market performances and related business development, were awarded to Fat Freddys Drop (to promote the release of Dr. Boondigga & The Big BW through showcasing tour of the USA), So So Modern (to tour and promote the release of their debut album Crude Futures in the UK and Europe) and Lawrence Arabia (to promote the release of Chant Darling in the UK, Europe and the US including showcasing at SXSW).
Stage One in-market touring and scoping grants were awarded to Kora (to showcase and further develop business opportunties in Japan), White Birds And Lemons (to support their debut Australian release in with a series of national high profile support slots.), Dirty Management (to attend Midem and to further develop business opportunities with existing partners in UK and Europe.) and Rapture Ruckus (to promote and release his latest release through his US label BEC Recordings.
Applications for the next round of Outward Sound grants close on December 14th at 5pm.
