Adam Hattaway and the Haunters Share 'Control It' Ahead of Next Weeks Album Release and Tour Kick Off

September 6th 2019
Adam Hattaway and the Haunters share the bite-sized oddball rock n roll track ‘Control It’, the second single from their sophomore album Crying Lessons, which is out next Friday 13 September.

Written by prolific musician and storyteller Delaney Davidson, who also produces the album, ‘Control It’ is a bridge between the band’s first record All Dat Love and the forthcoming Crying Lessons, with what Hattaway describes as an old-school attitude with a modern feel.

“It's got a modern sensitive sensibility that's juxtaposed with a contained classic raunchy energy.”

Hattaway explains how the track came to be on the album:

“Delaney had me and Elmore over making us his fucking impeccable pizza (he used to be a chef did you know that) and we saw him even make the dough.”

“He started showing us some demos he'd been working on for other projects, and Elmore and I, as soon as we heard it said "GIVE US THAT ONE IT IS FOR US!" And he said "Well, to tell you the truth, I'd already imagined you singing it, strolling down by the river with a rock n roll swagger." And so of course we had to have it.

Crying Lessons will be released digitally via DRM on 13 September and available on CD at selected outlets and at shows. Listen to 'Control It' now on iTunes, Spotify or Apple Music.

The release coincides with a nationwide album release tour, kicking off on release day with a hometown show. Tickets are on sale now at Under The Radar.
