Ainslie Allen Releases Video for 'My Mum'

January 22nd 2019

New Zealand Entertainer of the Year 2018 Ainslie Allen is no stranger to the entertainment world. From her beginnings on McDonald's Young Entertainers on NZ TV screens (equivalent of Young talent time in Australia) Ainslie has etched out an amazing career as an Independent Country Music Artist.

From entertaining New Zealand and Australian troops in East Timor (a war zone at the time) on a mercy mission with comedians, Cal Wilson, Mike King, Ewan Gilmore, Te Radar and Brendhan Lovegrove, through to singing the honourable National Anthem for the All Blacks, Silverferns, South Africa's Springbok, the Wallabies, and French rugby teams, to touring Hawaii with Elvis Presley's TCB band, and performing before a crowd of 250,000 at NZ's biggest outdoor concert, Ainslie's experiences have been extraordinary. Also to her credit, Ainslie's soulful version of the New Zealand National Anthem is produced and marketed by the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs.

After winning New Zealand Entertainer of the Year 2018, and attending this years CMAA Academy at Tamworth, Ainslie now brings her new release ‘My Mum' to the world.

‘My Mum' is a beautiful song written as a tribute to her Mum. Ainslie tells her story of life as a young girl, born to a single mother, who battled to buy their first home and make a better life for Ainslie and her siblings. This is a story that is relatable to many.

With Multi Award winning NZ producer Ben Edwards at the helm, Ainslie's delicate song is sure to play on your heartstrings.
