Arma Del Amor Release 'The Usurper'

April 20th 2018
The Usurper from Arma Del Amor is available on all streaming platforms today.

When Wanaka locals Martine Harding and Daniel Fairley connected over their love of electronic music, Arma Del Amor was born amidst the spectacular scenery of Wanaka.

Taking their inspiration from Wanaka and surrounding areas, Arma Del Amor's sound is a blend of hypnotic vocals over an uncompromising rhythmical driving force, which takes the listener on an aural journey through sonic ridges and valleys.

The Usurper is a song that lyrically it comes from a place of deep hurt. A hurt as a result of rejection, and a place where the mind asks a million questions which remain unanswered.

From a dark place where loneliness becomes all consuming The Usurper speaks about riding out those feelings until the ability to stand back up, dusting yourself off and the realisation of ones worth returns.

The Usurper was the final song to be written for Arma Del Amor's debut album Onna Bugeisha which is due for release on May 11.

Produced, written and recorded by Arma Del Amor at their studio in Wanaka, The Usurper was mixed and mastered by Benny Tones (Pacific Heights, Drax Project, Electric Wire Hustle) in Wellington at Organik Muzik Workz.
