December 10th 2018
Gibbs Farm, the private Kaipara sculpture park owned by entrepreneur Alan Gibbs, is opening its gates on Friday 22 March 2019 in a fundraiser for MusicHelps.

The farm is rarely open for the public to visit. This fundraising day is a special opportunity for supporters of MusicHelps to view Gibbs' unique collection of artworks by renowned sculptors from around the world.

The farm is also home to numerous exotic animal species, including Bison, Emus and Giraffes.

The site is noted internationally for its scale, quality and sheer dramatic intensity. The flow of the land, the immense body of water, the wide harbour flats and the assertive variety of the elements have all imposed themselves on the artists. Gibbs acknowledges that "the challenge for the artists is the scale of the landscape; it scares them initially" and demands something more from them.
