In the darkest hour of your day,
you light a match so you can find your way
but you are a fool..

All the leaves are soaked in kerosene.
you had it all, you got to live the dream
and you knew it; but you blew it

because you burned it all down.
you burned it all down.

oh you, do you need to burn to feel?
do you need to feel to know..
do you need to know that you’re real?
who are you now? who.

you think your stars are in a different sky,
there may be hope but you’re too scared to try..
you’ve been through it, can’t undo it..

because you burned it all down.
you burned it all down.

oh you, do you need to burn to feel?
do you need to feel to know..
do you need to know that you’re real?
who are you now? who.
