Nominations for the Best Children's Music Album Tui Award Close Today (27 May) at 5pm.

The winner/s will be announced and the Tui trophy presented at StarFest in Christchurch on Saturday, July 27th. The APRA Children's Song of the Year and What Now NZ Children's Video of the Year will also be presented at StarFest.

A Tui for Best Children's Music Album was last presented in 2002 to Fatcat & Fishface for their album 'Dog Breath'. The time is right to bring the award back with the song and video awards having established a home at StarFest - the finale of the Christchurch City Council's annual two-week KidsFest.

Nominations close on Monday 27 May at 5pm.The APRA Children's Song of the Year, judged by an independent panel, celebrates the songwriters and composers who write for the children of New Zealand. The winner of the Children's Song of the Year will be awarded $1000 prize along with a framed certificate.

The What Now Children's Music Video of the Year celebrates the songwriters, composers and video makers who have made a music video for New Zealand children. All entries are judged by an independent judging panel that have been chosen on their expertise on children's music and eye for quality and innovative video production. The top three videos are chosen, and then it is over to the children to chose! Shown on kids TV programme What Now for 3 weeks leading up to the Children's Music Awards, it is over to the kids to vote on their favourite video out of the Top 3. The winner of the Children's Video of the Year will receive priceless promotion from having their video run of What Now for 4 weeks, as well as a framed certificate.

The winner/s of all three awards will be announced at the Children's Music Awards in Christchurch on Saturday 27th July 2013, as part of the two week long Kidsfest, run by the Christchurch City Council.

25th June - All successful and unsuccessful entrants will be notified by this date
1st July - Finalists announced
27th July - Awards presented at Starfest in Christchurch.
