Turn on your radio to any NZ top hit’s radio station and you’re bound to have stumbled across RIIKI’s sun-saturated tune ‘High Heights’.

Since the songs release at the end of November 2019, it has shown no signs of slowing down. Re-entering the NZ Music Charts for a second wind, this time 8 months from it’s release, ‘High Heights’ climbs to even higher heights entering the Top 200 NZ Shazam Charts at number 9. THE INTERNS say “It’s a refreshing pop track that trades electronics for organic, human production, complimenting her beautiful tone”, with New Zealand’s hit radio network ZM following similarly saying “A head- bopping soak-up-the-sun pop tune, ‘High Heights’ matches the sweetness of RIIKI’s vocals with a catchy summertime vibe”

The live acoustic video directed by international award-winning NZ filmmaker Kieran Hodges (works include National Geographical, CNN, Vans) and filmed by Hodges with the assistance of Wellington filmmaker Shyam Patel brings RIIKI’s pink fluffy dream world to life with a raw and slowed down live performance of the track.

’High Heights’ is RIIKI’s second-ever release, co-produced by Simon Gooding (projects include P!nk, Dua Lipa and Migos) which has stunned an appearance on various Official NZ Music Charts as well as holding down a spot in the top 10 IMNZ Airplay Charts since June. The track also made it on Apple Music’s A-list Pop Playlist, and featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists in NZ/ AU, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Norway and also became the cover of the popular Spotify playlist ‘Pop Edge’.
