The Adults Release New Album 'Haja'

July 20th 2018
Jon Toogood's critically acclaimed project The Adults releases its second album, HAJA.

HAJA is inspired from Jon's 2014 wedding in Khartoum, Sudan and the traditional music, Aghani-Al-Banat, performed as part of the ceremony. HAJA follows The Adults' theme of collaboration with talented Kiwis Chelsea Jade, Estère, JessB, Miloux, and Raiza Biza, along with the award-winning Aaradhna and recent breakthrough artist Kings featuring on the album.

HAJA is already impressing critics with Metro calling the album "one of the most distinctive releases to have come out of NZ this year", and The Listener describing it as "a powerful, uplifting album that skilfully mixes its African roots with soulful, urban contemporary Kiwi sounds"

The new music video for Adults' latest single, ‘Take It On The Chin is out now! Directed by Shae Sterling (Stan Walker, Openside, Maisey Rika), the video features Jon and Kings as they drive through the streets of Auckland with speakers attached to the roof of their Toyota Century.
