First Round NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund Announced

The NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund is part of a range of music initiatives the Government is supporting due to the impact of COVID-19, to assist the music sector to adapt and revitalise.

NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund is to support COVID-19 related health and safety measures for music venues and support the infrastructure costs for original NZ music performance venues across New Zealand. This investment will provide music venues a contribution towards the costs associated with operating a live music venue with an environment which is fit for purpose and safe for artists, audiences and staff, and assist in ensuring a viable ongoing touring circuit for original NZ music.

Raynham Park Studio, Auckland

Sherwood, Queenstown

Snails artist run space, Palmerston North

Space Academy, Christchurch

Studio the Venue, Auckland

The Cabana, Napier

The Crown Hotel, Dunedin

The Dog's Bollix, Auckland

The Piano, Christchurch

The Plant, Blenheim

The Playhouse Theatre, Nelson

The Rogue and Vagabond, Wellington
