Industry Internship Programme Host Applications Close This Friday

From artist management to PR and promotion, live sound and music events to recording studios, event management and music licensing, the Industry Internship Programme has provided more than 80 opportunities for Interns so far.

“The Internship Programme is extremely valuable to the New Zealand music industry. Not only does it allow the Intern a foot in the door and a chance to make connections, it allows companies the chance to develop new ideas, gain a new perspective and free up time to be able to focus on long term strategies. If you’re in the music industry we highly recommend taking part in this invaluable initiative.”
– Sacha Vee, SOLE Music Academy – Host Organisation 2021/22

Since its pilot in 2018, the Music Commission’s Industry Internship Programme has placed more than 80 emerging industry professionals with music businesses and organisations across Aotearoa – with many going on to continue employment with their Host.

If you’d like to play a part in supporting the next generation of Aotearoa’s music industry professional, submit your Host Organisation form ASAP! Applications are open until 5:00pm on Friday 7 October and you can find the form on the Resources section of our website here.
