Christchurch dream pop heroes return to Brisbane. Charlie and Josh began playing music together in their teenage electro punk dance band Bang! Bang ! Eche! When that band folded they waited a few years and then formed Yumi Zouma with a couple friends from Christchurch. Sold out releases and tours with Lorde and Chet Faker quickly followed. They are now touring the world supporting the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Yoncalla.

YOUNG TAPZ (pictured)

19 year-old Young Tapz was born in Zimbabwe and at 8 years old relocated to New Zealand. Moving to New Zealand was a whole other experience. "It was so different. I remember, I fell in love with this US punk rock band when I was 10 - Green Day. The freedom of speech in their songs, I was like, ‘damn, you are allowed to say that about your own government? That's what I want to do!'"

"Being the black kid in high school you automatically have to freestyle and rap. I was 14 or 15 and we were on the bus and everyone was freestyling so I went home and wrote a couple of freestyles and everyone was like "Woah, so cool!"

In early 2015, Tapz was invited to feature on Hermitude's certified platinum single 'The Buzz'. In November 2015 Tapz self-released his first solo single, ‘Killa', which has had over 1 million plays on Spotify, peaked at number 2 on the US Spotify viral charts and number 3 globally. A remix US Platinum record producer Ricky Reed premiered on Zane Lowes' Beats 1 show this past July.

The brainchild of Amelia Murray, Fazerdaze began as a string of bedroom recordings created late in the night, emerging fully-formed in 2014 as her debut eponymous EP - a succinct collection of intimate, beautifully produced dream-pop written, produced and performed by Murray herself. It's a significant first outing for the young New Zealander with layers of softly crunching guitars swirling over consistently driving drum machines, and sparse electronica.

Since the EP release, Fazerdaze and her band have supported and toured with international acts such as Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Matt Corby and Connan Mockasin. Just recently, Fazerdaze completed a successful 12-date UK tour to this June supporting English band Big Deal. With her debut album set for release in late 2016, this is only the beginning for Amelia Murray and Fazerdaze.

"...soulful folk vocals, skipping future garage rhythms, woozy post-dubstep textures and drone art flourishes... "- Martyn Pepperell (The 405)

and began their journey making music as Groeni in New Zealand's capital,
Wellington. Originally starting as Alexander Green's solo project the band is now a three piece and is quickly going from strength to strength releasing three critically acclaimed eps and honing their live experience.

Groeni take much pride in their live performances and through hard work and perseverance have managed to translate their intricate studio made electronic music onto the stage in a meaningful and engaging way. You won't see laptops at a Groeni gig, it's all hardware instruments and music that is has elements of dance, ambience, improvisation which does not fail to impress and engage audiences.
