Next Round of NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund Announced

The NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund is part of a range of music initiatives the Government is supporting due to the impact of COVID-19, to assist the music sector to adapt and revitalise.

NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund is to support COVID-19 related health and safety measures for music venues and support the infrastructure costs for original NZ music performance venues across New Zealand. This investment will provide music venues a contribution towards the costs associated with operating a live music venue with an environment which is fit for purpose and safe for artists, audiences and staff, and assist in ensuring a viable ongoing touring circuit for original NZ music.

 

This round the establishments confirmed for NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund grants are:

Darkroom, Christchurch

Eggsentric Café, Whitianga

Jam Factory, Tauranga

Moon, Wellington

Nivara Lounge, Hamilton

Paisley Stage, Napier

Pyramid Club, Wellington

Red16, Nelson

San Fran, Wellington

The Ponsonby Social Club, Auckland

The Sitting Room, Haumoana

The Southland Musicians Club, Invercargill

The Tuning Fork, Auckland

Valhalla, Wellington

Whammy! and Whammy Backbar, Auckland

 

 

The next round of the recipients for the NZ Music Venue Infrastructure Fund will be posted on the website at the end of next week.
