Outward Sound is pleased to announce the third round of grant recipients for 2019.

Outward Sound is pleased to announce the third round of grant recipients for 2019. Eighteen International Music Market Development grants were awarded this round:

Chelsea Jade
19-date tour of the USA supporting RCA band, MUNA.

The Black Seeds
15-date tour of UK and Europe (via Bali) in support of new EP, Refabricated.

L.A.B
5-date tour of Australia in support of the lead single from forthcoming album via Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa.

Tami Neilson
14-date tour of North American including headline shows and appearances at Calgary Folk Festival and Americanafest.

SACHI
8-date US tour supporting US act, Phantoms.

Mermaidens
Showcasing in Australia in and around BIGSOUND 2019 and a 15-date tour of UK and Europe in support of new album Look Me In The Eye via Flying Nun Records.

The Modern Māori Quartet Ltd
17-date residency of their Garage Party show at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019.

Sony Music Entertainment NZ Ltd
2-part showcase of four artists in Sydney to promote Sony Music New Zealand's roster to Australian industry and market.

Myele Manzanza
18-date tour of the UK and Europe in support of new album A Love Requited via First Word Records.

Louis Baker
Showcasing at BIGSOUND and Reeperbahn including a 5-date tour of Australia supporting Jordan Rakei and a 4-date headline tour of UK and Europe in support of album Open.

Graeme James
11-date tour of North America in support of The Long Way Home out through Nettwerk Music Group.

CHAII
Marketing and promotion in Australia as well as showcasing in Sydney, Melbourne and at BIGSOUND.

Devin Abrams
Songwriting trip to Los Angeles.

Mild Orange
16-date North America headlining tour in support of debut album Foreplay including festival appearances in the USA and Mexico.

Five AM Ltd.
2-week market visit to the USA to meet with industry connections and writing sessions.

Eleven7four
Market visit to the USA to meet with label partners, publishers, potential management partners, songwriters and producers and writing sessions.

Gino October
Two market visits to Australia to meet with potential label partners and publishers plus showcasing in Melbourne and in Brisbane around BIGSOUND.

Openside
2 Australian shows in support of release of new single through Warner Music NZ/AU.
