Seven International Music Market Development grants were awarded.

Electric Wire Hustle

A tour of the EU/UK to support the album release of EWH's sophomore album 'LoveCanPrevail' through London based Somethinksounds and NewYork based record label Okayplayer.

Streets of Laredo

A month long North American Tour to support the release of their debut album released worldwide on Oct 7th, 2015 via Dine Alone Records.

Connan Mockasin

Two part project: 1) closing the Caramel album campaign with a tour supporting Mac Demarco and Julian Casablancas respectively 2) facilitating a collaborative recording residency in Marfa, TX in March 2015 as part of "new myths", a Mexican Summer-curated festival.

French For Rabbits

French for Rabbits are undertaking a 14-date European Tour supporting Agnes Obel and a 19-date European debut album release tour for 'Spirits'.

Ezra Vine

Tour of the USA in support of debut EP release.

Cairo Knife Fight

Two part project: 1) Undertake an Australian tour opening for Shihad in Oct/Nov 2014 to promote the new single and album that Warner music are releasing in Australia 2) to attend SXSW in March 2015 to find labels, booking agents and promoters to further the band's interests in the USA and Europe.

Mel Parsons

Touring in Canada, showcasing and presenting a seminar at the International Folk Alliance Conference in Kansas City, USA.

Popstrangers LTD

Popstrangers North American shows, including Culture Collide Festival in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and CMJ Festival in New York.

Business Support Grants

The Outward Sound Business Development grant enables up to 2 representatives to undertake a market development visit. This involves traveling to the desired market (or markets) and meeting with companies/individuals and to capitalise on opportunities created. It supports managers, artists, and companies undertaking business-to-business meetings as well as attending tradeshows and associated events.
