Silk Cut Return with Their Buzzy Wake-up Call ‘Good Morning’

Auckland rock quartet Silk Cut share ‘Good Morning’, the first single from their forthcoming album Corridors of Light.

No weather report; the single is both an affirmation for a new day, and the first order of business. And the direction of the day? Punching nineties Brit-styled guitar pop – a rocking contagion of melody and harmony.

Fresh from his success with Devilskin’s number one album Re-Evolution, recording engineer Dave Rhodes has brought his considerable abilities to bear with Silk Cut.

You may be lucky enough to have already heard this upbeat power-pop gem. If not, ‘Good Morning’ to you there…you’ll never skip breakfast again!

Silk Cut’s third album Corridors of Light will be released on October 15, via Parcel Postmodernism.
