The New Zealand Music Commission is pleased to announce that delegate applications to attend Indie-Con Australia & A2IM Indie Week 2026 are now open.

Indie-Con returns for its 10th year as Australia’s preeminent independent music business conference, welcoming an international lineup of music industry leaders shaping the future of artist development, touring, publishing, sync, management and independent music worldwide.

Each year, the intimate nature of Indie-Con offers valuable connections and transformative exchanges, alongside networking, keynotes, panels, workshops, and Indie Label Spotlights.
The conference will take place Saturday 29 – Monday 31 July 2026 in Adelaide, Australia, and will also host the A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition, bringing the world’s largest music market to South Australia.

Outward Sound Delegate Grants

Since July 2013, Outward Sound have offered Targeted Tradeshow grants to support our managers and labels at selected and targeted trade events of which Indie-Con is one.

Outward Sound offers successful applicants 50% recoupable support up to a tradeshow specific value. Recoupable costs are limited to airfares, delegate registration, accommodation and per diems. The grants will be offered outside of the established Outward Sound quarterly grant rounds.

Up to $1000 to cover 50% of return economy airfares from New Zealand to Adelaide, delegate registration to the conference, accommodation (up to 4 nights) and per diems (up to 4 days) is available under the Indie-Con delegate grant.
