Independent Artist Killian Ordono Builds Momentum With New Album Kill The Sound!

New Zealand independent artist Killian Ordono will release his upcoming album, Kill The Sound!, on July 9.
Created over the course of a month, the 11-track project highlights Ordono’s commitment to developing his craft independently through songwriting, recording, production, mixing and mastering.
Following the release of ‘Sound‘ earlier this year, Kill The Sound! expands on the momentum built through previous singles and projects while introducing a more focused rap sound.
As his first dedicated rap album since the New Era released in October 2024, the project reflects both creative growth and a renewed confidence in the style of music that first inspired him to start making music.
Spanning eleven tracks, the album explores a range of influences, from the nostalgic gaming themes of ‘Press Start‘ to the high-energy confidence of ‘Kill Season‘ and the uplifting atmosphere of closing track ‘Sky‘.

Speaking on the project, Ordono says:
“Kill The Sound! is about trusting my own ideas and putting everything I’ve learned into one project. I’ve spent the last month pushing myself creatively and building something that feels true to who I am as an artist.”
Written, recorded, mixed and mastered independently, Kill The Sound! represents the next step in Ordono’s journey as an emerging New Zealand artist.
Kill The Sound! will be available on all major streaming platforms from July 9. Streaming links will be supplied on release day.
