International Indigenous Music Summit 2027 Artist Showcase Submissions Now Open

The International Indigenous Music Summit (IIMS) is thrilled to announce that showcase applications are officially open for the 2027 International Indigenous Music Summit (IIMS), taking place May 31–June 4, 2027, in Tkaronto, Northern Turtle Island.
Over the past year, IIMS has continued listening, connecting, and growing its collective work across Turtle Island and globally. In 2027, IIMS is excited to welcome everyone back to the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, also known as Tkaronto, and to build on the incredible success of its first seven years.
Submissions are open to all Indigenous music artists and groups across Turtle Island and around the world.
IIMS facilitates opportunities, connections, collaborations, and partnerships between artists, professionals, and key players in both the Indigenous-owned and mainstream music industries. IIMS looks forward to continuing to build meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships that inspire and move the needle forward for sustainable, long-term change in the global music community.
Interested in performing at IIMS 2027? Artists and groups are encouraged to apply. Any genre of music—contemporary or traditional—is welcome.
Applications are available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Anishinaabemowin is available upon request, and IIMS welcomes applicants to reach out if additional translation support is required.
