GREEN ROOM – In session with Joel Little

Join Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Joel Little for a special GREEN ROOM, facilitated by acclaimed producer Greg Haver.

Joel Little is a GRAMMY Award-winning, Golden Globe-nominated, diamond-certified songwriter, record producer, and musician. He has helped shape the sound of contemporary pop, working with artists including Lorde, Broods, Gracie Abrams, Niall Horan, Khalid, Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan and Imagine Dragons.

Little began his musical journey while studying at the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ) and fronting pop-punk band Goodnight Nurse, before moving into songwriting and production.

In 2013, he co-wrote, produced, engineered, and mixed Lorde’s global #1 single ‘Royals’, earning the pair the APRA Silver Scroll and GRAMMY Award for Song of the Year. He also produced, mixed, and co-wrote every track on Lorde’s multi-platinum debut album, Pure Heroine. Little holds two US diamond-certified records, Lorde’s ‘Royals’ and Khalid’s ‘Young, Dumb & Broke’, while his songwriting credits have generated more than 25 billion streams globally.

Little and his wife, Gemma, are also the founders of Big Fan, a not-for-profit music space established to support the next generation of Aotearoa music makers through access to professional facilities and programmes.
