Rising artist Furo 4404 is entering a new chapter with the announcement of his forthcoming 13-track album, Big 40 Not The Little One, set for release on 30 October 2026.

Blending personal reflection with ambition, the album explores self-discovery, growth and the process of finding your place in the world. Big 40 Not The Little One represents more than a new body of work for Furo 4404; it is a declaration of arrival and a statement about stepping into the person he is becoming.

Across the 13 tracks, Furo 4404 explores themes of heartbreak, loyalty, ambition and the fear that can come with pursuing something that initially feels out of reach.

“This album exists because… it’s the best way I could express the process of learning and understanding myself and the world.”

The album arrives following a significant period of growth for the artist. Furo 4404 has performed in front of crowds of more than 20,000 people at Africa Day Festival and Afro Fest, headlined his own shows and sold out venues including Galatos, Neck of the Woods, AHU Lounge and Crown in Auckland, New Zealand. He has also shared stages with artists including Mazbouq and international artist Focalistic, while accumulating more than 560,000 streams across streaming platforms.

A key collaboration on the album is ‘Take Me Over’, which Furo 4404 created with Chris Ingram and recorded at the Higher Ground & Sniffers Studio. Reflecting on the session, he says: “We had a fruitful session running through ideas and good tea that the studio had. It was a great environment and I was able to stimulate so many ideas, melodies and flows in the studio.”

For Furo 4404, the journey towards Big 40 Not The Little One has been as much about personal development as it has been about music.

“The hardest thing I’ve had to overcome is taking that first step and putting more into my music than I ever expected.”

That willingness to take the next step is at the heart of the album’s title. Big 40 Not The Little One reflects a shift in perspective, moving beyond self-doubt and recognising the responsibility that comes with growing into yourself.
