Welcome to Week 3 of TE MARAMA PUORO O AOTEAROA 2024 – NZ Music Month – with AMPLIFYING AOTEAROA | PAOROTIA AOTEAROA the theme across this year’s event, shining a light on those who are the heartbeat of our nation’s music scene and celebrating everyone who makes our incredible music and helps amplify tunes from across Aotearoa.

Fittingly for our International focus week, there is an incredible 36 shows by NZ artists right around the globe over the seven days with festivals, amazing support slots, showcases and solo gigs all across the world. We’ve popped all the konohete we know of in the Gigs & Shows list at the end of this newsletter – let us know if there is any that we missed! The biggest annual UK music trade and showcase event is also on this week – The Great Escape in Brighton. Four artists from Aotearoa will be taking to the stage at TGE with showcase performances from DARTZ, Tom Lark, Kylie Price and Earth Tongue – and the NZ Music Commission x M For Montreal event is wrapping up just as we publish this!
