Picture this, you take your first step on the stage, you walk towards the mic and you put your hands around it and look into the crowd. You start to sing and faces that were blurry become clearer as does their warm glow of calm that soon washes over you. Imagine standing next to someone at the bar ordering a drink – “you’re going to be great” and they haven’t heard you sing yet. This is what the open mic community of Auckland feels like, let us show you, inspire you, let us show you the magic of Shamus Crawford, Sam Loveridge, Andre Bunton and Vanessa Tottle as they come together to give you a showcase of their talent, covering all the food groups on genres there is something for everyone.
