In the fifth iteration of Boosted X Moana, Boosted is delighted to announce the continuation of the partnership with Creative New Zealand through Boosted X Moana 2024, with $150k of match funding available.

To date, $120k has already been awarded, leaving $30k to support Pasifika projects. Don’t miss out on this opportunity before it slips away anau!

WHAT’S NEW?

Boosted X Moana Timeline Change: Boosted X Moana is now part of the permanent offerings for 2024, allowing Pasifika/Māori-led campaigns with strong Pasifika/Māori kaupapa to receive match funding for projects throughout the year.

Boosted X Moana Mentor: Poe Tiare Tararo, one of the Boosted X Moana alumni, has joined the Boosted vaka to deliver the campaign and mentor all Pasifika projects for 2024.

$3k Match Funding: There are 50 x $3K match funds available for projects of $6k and above, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

$6k Climate-Focused Match Funding: Projects focused on climate can receive $6k match funds for projects of $12k and above, also allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

$10k Festival Match Funding: Pasifika festivals in need of funding can receive $10k match funds, requiring a minimum raise of $20k, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

WHEN TO APPLY?

Applications must be submitted BEFORE November to qualify for match funding—it’s first-come, first-served, so act quickly!

WHY BOOSTED X MOANA?

The match fund significantly increases the likelihood of each project’s success to 95%, providing a strong backing for assured outcomes. Once a campaign goes live for funding, each new donation from the crowd will be doubled by the Boosted X Moana match fund.

Over the last four years of Boosted X Moana campaigns, over $700K has been raised, enabling 68 Pasifika creatives to bring their art to life, gain valuable community development and arts promotion skills, build stronger connections with other Pacific artists, and grow a supportive community.
