Tāmaki Makaurau punks Dick Move aka the hi-octane five-piece of Lucy Suttor, Lucy Macrae, Hariet Ellis, Justin Rendell and Luke Boyes star in UTR’s new episode of LIVE MUSIC BAR. They busted out a generosity of tunes from their songbook — ‘Rampage’, ‘Wet’, unreleased anthems ‘Shut Your Mouth When You’re Talking To Me’ and ‘Karangahape’ — chatted with our live studio audience about playing stadium events with Foo Fighters, fashion, Purple Gs and their shared love for ‘Spanish Flea’ (popularised by Herb Albert), then closed with another brand new one ‘Bludger’.

Dick Move are the Tāmaki Makaurau political party-punk team of Lucy Suttor, Lucy Macrae, Hariet Ellis (Na Noise), Justin Rendell and Luke Boyes, who’ve gone from strength to strength since their debut album Chop! exploded onto airwaves in 2020. Fast forward to 2024 and Dick Move have supported US rock icons Foo Fighters with absolute legends Breeders at Mt. Smart Stadium, hit number 1 on the IMNZ album chart with their 2023 sophomore album Wet, and completed tours of Europe (22 dates) and Australia. Live favourites across the motu, they have no local shows announced as of yet for summer — keep your ears peeled.
