Emma Kate is excited to announce the release of ‘Invisible Broken Hearts’, available everywhere on Friday November 8th, 2024.

‘Invisible Broken Hearts’ is a sombre sad-pop ballad, tugging on the listeners’ heartstrings with gut-wrenching lyrics, synth and violin chords and melodic harmonies.

The song takes lyrical inspiration from an unrequited and sudden breakup, talking about feelings of grief and loss of the relationship. It takes musical inspiration from Olivia Rodrigo’s album ‘SOUR’.

Emma Kate is an independent artist from Wellington, New Zealand.. She has been writing songs since she taught herself guitar at 10 years old, performing live at many venues in Wellington over the past 7 years. Emma Kate is independently working on the release of a 7-track EP, with plans to release it early 2025.
