Kaosis Drops New Sophomore Album with 20 Major Guest Artists

Kaosis, the fresh face of numetal, is proud to announce the release of their sophomore album, We Are the Future. The record features 18 of the most influential names in modern metal and two of the most revered turntablists in hip hop. The singles from the album have already amassing over 250k plays on Spotify alone.
When Kaosis returned from an extended tour of Japan the global pandemic struck. Instead of pausing, the band used the lockdown to craft new material, aiming to evolve their sound and introduce larger dynamics and melodic vocals to their repertoire. XEN, the band’s lead singer and producer, sought to return to his numetal roots, reinvigorating the genre he loved as a teenager.
“Our debut, HITECH LOWLIFE, is a relentless album that forces the audience to pay attention, but now that we have your attention, we want to show you what else we are capable of,” says XEN.
XEN collaborated with Jeremiah Stratton (American Head Charge, hedPE) and Peredur Ap Gwynedd (Pendulum), who helped with arrangement and song structure. The tracks were then refined with the help of some of the most renowned figures in the industry.
The album’s production involved some heavy hitters. Logan Mader (ex-Machinehead, Soulfly) handled the amp engineering, ensuring the guitar tones remained authentic to the nu-metal era. The mastering was entrusted to the legendary Howie Weinberg, who has 21 Grammy Awards to his name and has mastered iconic albums such as Nirvana‘s Nevermind,Deftones‘ White Pony, and Metallica‘s Master of Puppets.
The title We Are the Future is a bold statement, reflecting Kaosis’s respect for the past while confidently embracing the future of numetal.
“All of these legends have played a significant role in not only shaping me as a musician and producer but the entire state of the metal as we know it,” says XEN.
DJINNOBI, Kaosis’s guitarist, adds, “You can’t be part of the future without having a past. Kaosis has always focused on progress through evolving our sound and sometimes that means looking at where you have come from.”
