Tali is an award-winning singer, songwriter, teacher, mentor, inspirational speaker, and author.

She is sought after for her experience as one of the most prolific female MC/vocalists to emerge from the international electronic dance music scene – particularly for her work and ground-breaking achievements within drum and bass.

Tali has worked with some of the biggest names in drum and bass and toured the world several times over as both an MC and with a live band. She has released seven studio albums, numerous singles both as a solo artist and collaboratively, has won three drum and bass awards, a New Zealand Music Award (for her LP ‘Love & Migration’ 2019) and had a UK Top 40 hit.

During lockdown 2020, Tali made a documentary about her ground-breaking first ever album ‘Lyric On My Lip’ (funded by Creative New Zealand) celebrating 15 years since its original release, and featuring many of the artists and creatives who contributed to the albums success.

In 2021, Tali’s collaboration ‘What We Gonna Do?’ produced by acclaimed DnB DJ and producer – Harriet Jaxxon, was recently selected for the ‘25 Years of Drum&BassArena compilation. Tali has also recently collaborated with talented house producer Sanoi with the track ‘Vortex’ out on Zehn Recordings.

As a producer and writer, Tali has released her own work in the shape of her album ‘Wolves’ and is currently finishing off her new solo self-produced album. In 2020, Tali was asked to remix ‘Hawks And Doves’ by award winning Kiwi artist Reb Fountain, with the remix making the NZ Top 20 singles chart, and is also known as a composer for various projects in theatre film, TV and online.

As an MC/vocalist, Tali often performs with DJ Emma G (Soulside Sessions), DJ Aroha, Chiccoreli (Liquid Lowdown) and with her live DnB band whom she played mainstage Splore festival with in 2020, and recently mainstage Rhythm and Alps festival 2021. She has also collaborated on stage with some of Aotearoa’s most celebrated artists such as Tiki Taane, Hollie Smith, Anika Moa, KORA, and Julia Deans.

As a trained educator, Tali has been teaching and mentoring in both the UK and New Zealand for almost 15 years. Tali works as a music mentor through The New Zealand Music Commission and regularly with Albany Senior High School for their Impact Music project. As a music mentor, Tali teaches lyric writing, collaboration, production, song development and is often called on as a motivational speaker at institutions such as MAINZ, NASDA, Massey University, and Crescendo Trust.
