We’ve come to the end of TE MARAMA PUORO O AOTEAROA 2024 – NZ Music Month – with AMPLIFYING AOTEAROA | PAOROTIA AOTEAROA the theme across this year’s event, celebrating everyone who makes our incredible music and helps amplify tunes from across Aotearoa.

Firstly – huge congratulations to the winners at last night’s Aotearoa Music Awards across all the categories. The Aotearoa Music Awards was an amazing evening to see Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa out in style after a fantastic month of local music. You can catch up on all the performances and action from the big event at TVNZ+, streaming from later today.

As the clock winds down on NZ Music Month for 2024, we look forward to more great local music every month of the year. There are absolutely tonnes of fantastic songs, albums, tours and events all to come in the next few months, and we hope this May you have found some new local favourites to follow.
