Aga-Panthers Release ‘Go Out and Kick Up a Fuss’ for US Presidential Inauguration Day

‘Go Out and Kick Up a Fuss’ is the first single to be released by Aga-Panthers. It’s a hard-hitting track blending punchy rhythms with a bold, defiant message.

Released on US Presidential Inauguration Day 2025, ‘Go Out and Kick Up a Fuss’ is a politically-charged anthem motivating us to rise up and engage with world events. It warns against being complacent while fascism quietly lurks behind the screens of digital platforms, and hides behind the sometimes deceptively benign face of the Alt-right.

The track challenges listeners to reject being passive consumers of culture and politics, urging them to take control of their futures and stand against corporate greed and authoritarianism.

Aga-Panthers are:

Ron Haynes
Ron Haynes has a musical career spanning over 35 years, as a songwriter, drummer and guitarist.
He drummed for UK alternative rock band Serafin in the early 2000s (fellow New Zealander Darryn Harkness was also in the band). Serafin toured Europe and USA, signing to Elektra in the US, releasing three EPs and one album.

Haynes has recorded, filmed, and made music videos for a vast variety of musicians, ranging from classical composers, opera, dance and gamelan, to alternative rock and hard rock. This includes creating DVDs for Opera Europa, Glyndebourne Opera, and the English National Opera, and editing a television show for Channel 4 in the UK called Rock Feedback.

He also studied Ethnomusicology and Jazz History at Auckland University, and is interested in indigenous music from around the world in all its various forms.

Louis Bragg
Louis Bragg is world famous in Nelson for his guitar chops. Shredder extraordinaire, he lives and breathes music. Recording Lou’s parts took the Aga-Panthers in a new, and better, direction!

John Pain
Renown musician, mixer/producer, and animator, John Pain plays bass and synths for Aga-Panthers. He added the class to the recordings, and mixed most of them. Pain is also a long-standing member of the Hallelujah Picassos, and creates music as painspeople.
