Boa Lanta – An up & coming duo based in Christchurch, New Zealand, with an enriched sound that takes flavours from Neo-Soul, & old school RnB.

Boa Lanta is the brainchild of Betty Barouni and Fin Gilzean. Stemming from more than 3 years of creative devotion, the single ‘The Substance’ is ready for release.

Boa Lanta is from NZ, but it doesn’t sound like it. Their international sound pushes to revive the smooth 90’s vibe, with a modern emphasis on production. Blending electronic tools with live instruments, Boa Lanta draws inspiration from the likes of Erykah Badu, Ladi6, Aaradhna, SZA, Cleo Sol, Ledisi and many more. Boa Lanta also experiments with pop, house, garage and funk, their style ensures a new and exciting continuous evolution of bangers!
