Defunct Auckland Post-Punk Band Climate Change Unveils Long-forgotten Album, Pest Sounds

Climate Change is an Auckland-based post-punk band composed of Shane Warbrooke (The Bemsha Swing, A Crude Mechanical), Doug Dilliman and Hamish Scott (The Sea Plus).

Back in the halcyon days of 2017, Auckland post-punk provocateurs Climate Change recorded an entire album of acerbic and energetic complaints across one and a half weekends. The album, titled Pest Sounds, tackled everything from the (still ongoing) housing crisis to the (still ongoing) obsession with numbers going up destroying the entirety of human existence.
